“Hi, my name is Steve and I reside at Orchard Hills. I have been here for approximately five months, and it’s been really difficult for me to settle in. I have never been in a group home environment before.
The difficulty is mainly with me; I just like my own home too much. In the last twelve months or so my illness is progressing relatively quickly and unfortunately my family couldn’t care for me anymore.
Fortunately, we found this home, which is really nice, the staff just are really professional with support work and just make living with a horrible illness so much better.
