Cocoon SDA Care NDIS provider welcome new leadership and new year for participants

New Leadership

Apart from a new year, 2023 brings new leadership to the Cocoon SDA Care family. We welcome the appointment of Lesh Prasad to the role of Chief Operating Officer.
Lesh has over 20 years experience in executive leadership roles across multiple industries, with a focus on workforce diversity and inclusion.
We congratulate Lesh on his new position, and look forward to seeing him settle into the role, and leading Cocoon SDA Care in a different direction. Elevating the organisation to a whole new level.

New Services

Cocoon SDA Care is also excited to announce the introduction of specialised health care services. Cocoon SDA Care has always believed that a wholistic approach to life results in more successful outcomes for the individual.

Participants are now able to access additional services including, but not limited to Occupational therapy, Speech Pathology, Phycology, and Dietetics. These services are a fabulous addition to the current framework, and will certainly enhance the outcomes for participants who choose to utilise these extra benefits.

Tokyo bound

Cocoon SDA Care are not the only one’s that have a big year ahead. I am making up for time lost during Covid, by having a full schedule of Marathons on the calendar for 2023. It all kicks off on Sunday 5th March with the Tokyo Marathon. Tokyo is a key event as it is part of the Abbott Marathon Majors. The AMM is a series of six of the largest and most renowned marathons in the world. These include Berlin, Boston, Chicago, London, New York, and Tokyo. I hope to place in the top 5 women, and use this event as a stepping stone to gaining a qualifying time for the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris. I will keep you all posted on my result in next months blog. In the meantime, take care of yourselves and each other.
