The road to finding his own home has been a rocky one for Mark. After several failed attempts to move into other homes with other providers, Mark moved into a Cocoon SDA Care property. He has had a very smooth transition and is very quickly becoming part of the family. Mark describes his new home as “safe.” Before coming to us, Mark had worn his favourite jacket every day for an entire year without allowing anyone to wash it. Our staff bought him a new jacket for his birthday, which he now enthusiastically wears, and gently coaxed him to allow them to wash his old one. He says this is his single biggest achievement.
